Eligibility
- Applicants must be Indian citizens aged between 16 and 30 years at the time of application.
- Applicants must have passed Class 10 (SSC or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% marks in English and Science.
- Students currently studying in Class 10 and awaiting their board examination results are also eligible to apply.
- However, to receive the scholarship, they must meet the above academic criteria once their results are declared.
- Students currently pursuing graduation or post-graduation programs are also eligible to apply and may be considered for sponsorship based on merit and available funds.
- Candidates must meet the basic medical fitness standards required for their chosen field.
- Applicants who are already undergoing training may also apply (see Section 5 for conditions).
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted only through the official Vayu-Sagar Foundation website or authorized channels.
- A non-refundable examination fee of ₹1,000 + 18% GST (₹1,180 total) must be paid at the time of registration.
- Payment must be made online through the designated payment gateway. No cash or offline payments will be accepted.
- Applications will be confirmed only after successful payment and submission of all required details.
- Incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent applications are liable to be rejected without refund.
Examination Structure
- The scholarship exam will be conducted offline at designated centers across selected cities.
- Details of venues, dates, and timings will be shared on the official website and via registered email.
- The test will be objective and multiple-choice, consisting of 100 questions to be completed in 120 minutes.

- Mathematics
- Science
- English Language
- Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
- General Knowledge
- Marking Scheme:
- +1 mark for each correct answer
- –0.25 mark for each incorrect answer
- No deduction for unanswered questions
- Important:
- Use of unfair means or impersonation will result in immediate disqualification.
- Candidates must bring a valid ID proof and their admit card on the exam day.
Selection and Awards
- All candidates will be ranked based on their performance in the scholarship exam.
- Depending on the availability of resources and funds, the Foundation may sponsor top-ranked candidates for Commercial Pilot Training, including tuition fees, at a DGCA-approved partner flight school.
- The Foundation may also cover graduation fees for selected students pursuing recognized degree programs, subject to available funding at the time of award.
- The number of scholarships and sponsorships awarded each year will depend on the Foundation’s financial capacity and may vary accordingly.
- Scholarships are non-transferable and must be used only at partner institutions nominated by the Foundation.
- Final selection is subject to:
- Document verification
- Medical fitness clearance (as per DGCA requirements)
- Acceptance of training terms with the partner institute
- The decision of the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee will be final and binding.
Sponsorship Conditions
- Scholarship recipients must sign a commitment agreement with the Foundation and the designated training partner.
- The awarded scholarship is valid for 36 months from the date of result declaration.
- The selected candidates must avail and commence their training within this period, failing which the scholarship will be forfeited, unless an extension is granted in writing by the Foundation.
- For candidates selected for Commercial Pilot Training, the Foundation will cover flight training costs only, unless otherwise specified in the award letter.
- Boarding, licensing, travel, and medical expenses are not included.
- For candidates selected for graduation programs, the Foundation will cover tuition fees only at the designated institution.
- Candidates already undergoing training at the time of award will be eligible for partial sponsorship covering only the remaining training fees,
- subject to verification and agreement with the training institute.
- Applicants who have completed more than 85% of training at the time of application are not eligible for sponsorship.
- Final discretion lies with the Foundation.
Disqualification
The Foundation reserves the right to revoke the scholarship if:
- The applicant provides false or misleading information.
- The applicant fails medical or background checks.
- The applicant violates the code of conduct at the training institute.
Legal and Financial
- Vayu-Sagar Foundation is a non-profit Section 8 Company. All funds are used strictly for educational and charitable purposes.
- Paying the exam fee does not guarantee selection or sponsorship.
- Examination fees are non-refundable, even in cases of withdrawal or disqualification.
Communication
- All official communication will be sent via the registered email ID and mobile number.
- The Foundation will not be responsible for missed notifications due to incorrect or inactive contact details.
Intellectual Property
- All exam materials, including question papers, answer keys, and related documents, are the intellectual property of Vayu-Sagar Foundation and protected by copyright laws.
- Candidates are strictly prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or sharing any exam content.
- Any violation may result in disqualification and legal action.
Data Privacy
- By registering, applicants consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal data for exam administration and scholarship evaluation.
- The Foundation will handle all personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available on the official website.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
Right to Modify
The Vayu-Sagar Foundation is committed to conducting the scholarship program in a fair and transparent manner.
However, in case of unforeseen circumstances, the Foundation reserves the right to revise the exam schedule, selection process, or program details to ensure the best possible experience for participants.
