Vayu-Sagar Foundation – Scholarship Program (Class 6 to Class 9)

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens currently studying in Class 6, 7, 8, or 9 at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized school in India.
  • Students must meet the minimum academic and conduct standards as specified by the Foundation from time to time.
  • Applicants who provide incorrect or misleading academic information may be disqualified at any stage.

Application Process

  • Applications must be submitted only through the official Vayu-Sagar Foundation website or authorized channels
  • A non-refundable examination fee of ₹500 + 18% GST (₹590 total) must be paid at the time of registration.
  • Payment must be made online through the designated payment gateway only. No cash or offline payments will be accepted.
  • Applications will be considered valid only after successful payment and submission of all required details.
  • Incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent applications are liable to be rejected without refund.

Examination Structure

  • The scholarship examination will be conducted offline at designated centers in selected cities.
  • Examination details including venue, date, and timing will be shared through the official website and registered email ID.
  • The examination will be objective (multiple-choice) in nature, consisting of 100 questions to be completed in 120 minutes.
  • Subjects covered:
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • English Language
    • Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
    • General Knowledge
  • Marking Scheme:
    • +1 mark for each correct answer
    • –0.25 mark for each incorrect answer
    • No deduction for unanswered questions
  • Important:
    • Any form of unfair means, cheating, or impersonation will lead to immediate disqualification.
    • Candidates must carry a valid school ID or government-issued ID and admit card on the exam day.

Selection and Scholarship Awards

  • All candidates will be ranked based on their performance in the scholarship examination.
  • Based on rank, merit, and availability of funds, selected students may be awarded a scholarship of up to ₹7,00,000 (Seven Lakhs).
  • The exact scholarship amount will vary depending on the candidate’s rank and the Foundation’s available funding for the year.
  • Scholarships are awarded solely for educational purposes and must be used in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Foundation.
  • The number of scholarships and award amounts may vary each year depending on financial resources.

    • The decision of the Vayu-Sagar Foundation Scholarship Committee shall be final and binding.

Sponsorship Conditions

  • Selected students and their parents or legal guardians must sign a scholarship acceptance and undertaking agreement with the Foundation.
  • The scholarship amount will be disbursed in phases or installments, as decided by the Foundation.
  • Continued scholarship support may be subject to academic performance, conduct, and periodic review.
  • The scholarship cannot be transferred to another individual.
  • Final discretion regarding scholarship disbursement and continuation lies with the Foundation.

Disqualification

The Foundation reserves the right to cancel or revoke the scholarship if:

  • False, incomplete, or misleading information is provided
  • The student fails to meet academic or conduct requirements
  • Any misuse of scholarship funds is detected

Legal and Financial Disclaimer

  • Vayu-Sagar Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit company, and all funds areutilized strictly for educational and charitable purposes.
  • Payment of the examination fee does not guarantee selection or scholarship award.
  • Examination fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including or disqualification.

Communication

  • All official communication will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number provided during registration.
  • The Foundation will not be responsible for missed communications due to incorrect or inactive contact details.

Intellectual Property

  • All examination materials, including question papers and related content, are the intellectual property of Vayu-Sagar Foundation
  • Reproduction, distribution, or sharing of exam content is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification and legal action.

Data Privacy

  • By registering, applicants and their guardians consent to the collection and processing of personal data for examination and scholarship purposes.
  • Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Foundation’s Privacy Policy available on the official website.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.

Right to Modify

  • Vayu-Sagar Foundation reserves the right to revise examination schedules, scholarship structure, or program details in case of unforeseen circumstances
  • Any updates will be communicated through the official website and registered email IDs.
